Therapist for Orthodox Jewish Men · Monsey, NYYou don’t have to carry this alone anymore.
Many of the men I work with appear steady on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or under constant pressure inside. They’ve spent years being responsible for work, family, and everyone around them — while quietly carrying struggles they rarely talk about.
You don’t have to keep doing that by yourself.
Yosef Klein, LMHC · Licensed Mental Health Counselor · Working primarily with Orthodox Jewish men and adolescents
You may be feeling…
- Anxious or constantly under pressure
- Emotionally exhausted
- Disconnected in important relationships
- Responsible for everyone else — while feeling alone yourself
- Stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand
- Like something is “off,” even if life looks fine from the outside
Many of the people I work with function well externally while struggling internally.
People don’t struggle because they are weak. Often, they learned to adapt to difficult experiences, high expectations, or environments where parts of themselves had to stay hidden.
Healing isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about reconnecting with yourself.
A steady place to slow down
Therapy offers a steady place to understand what’s happening beneath the surface.
We explore together
Anxiety, relationships, emotional patterns, childhood experiences, identity, and the ways you’ve learned to cope.
Beyond feeling better
The goal isn’t simply feeling better. It’s becoming more present, connected, and grounded in your life.
At your pace
A space to slow down, with no pressure to tell your whole story at once. We begin wherever you are.
Some people I work with feel deeply connected to their faith. Others carry pain or conflict related to religious or community experiences. Many are somewhere in between.
You don’t have to believe, think, or feel a certain way to be welcome here.
The relationship comes first
My work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic and nervous-system approaches, trauma-informed therapy, and Psychosomatic Breathwork.
But more important than any technique is the relationship we build together. People heal best when they feel safe, understood, and accepted.

Before I was a therapist
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in business and leadership. I understand the pressure of responsibility — and what it can cost a person internally to keep performing.
That experience continues to shape the way I work today.
