About

Why I do this work

I’ve noticed a pattern in many of the people I work with. They aren’t lacking strength. They’ve simply carried too much for too long — and they’ve become very good at functioning while quietly struggling underneath.

Helping people reconnect with themselves and with others is what drew me to this work.

My path here

Before I was a therapist

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in business and leadership. I know what it feels like to carry responsibility, pressure, and expectations while trying to keep everything moving.

Eventually, I became more interested in what people carry internally than in how they perform externally. That curiosity became a profession.

Today, I meet with men and adolescents at my office in Monsey, NY — in person from across Rockland County, and virtually from anywhere in New York State.

What I believe

I don’t believe people are broken. I believe people adapt. The ways we learn to survive difficult experiences often become the patterns that shape our relationships, emotions, and sense of self.

Healing begins when those patterns can be understood with curiosity instead of judgment.

How I work

Safe enough to be fully yourself

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and experiential.

In our work together, I pay attention to…

  • Your emotions, and what lives underneath them
  • Your relationships, past and present
  • The nervous system, and how your body carries stress
  • The stories you carry about yourself

The most important part of therapy, though, isn’t a technique. It’s building a relationship where you can feel safe enough to be fully yourself.

These approaches support the work — but the relationship always comes first.

You don’t need to know exactly what to say.

If something here resonates, that’s enough. We can begin there.
