Psychosomatic Breathwork · Monsey, NYWorking with what words don’t always reach.
Sometimes people understand their struggles intellectually. They know their patterns. They’ve thought about them for years. Yet something inside still feels stuck.
The body can carry experiences that are difficult to access through conversation alone. Psychosomatic Breathwork offers another way of working with those experiences.
A guided, body-based practice
Psychosomatic Breathwork works with breathing, awareness, and the nervous system. Within a safe therapeutic setting — at my office in Monsey, NY, here in Rockland County — it can help you connect with emotions, physical sensations, and experiences that may have been difficult to access or process.
The goal isn’t intensity. The goal is awareness, regulation, and integration.
Unhurried, from beginning to end
We check in
We begin by checking in and understanding where you are — emotionally and physically.
Guided breathing
You’ll then be guided through a structured breathing process while I remain present and attentive to your experience.
Space to integrate
Afterward, we slow down and make space to integrate whatever emerged.
The process is always paced with safety and your individual needs in mind.
What people often notice
Over time, many people begin to feel…
- More connected to themselves
- Less overwhelmed by emotions
- More aware of their internal experience
- More grounded and regulated
- Better able to stay present during difficult moments
Everyone’s experience is different, and the process unfolds gradually over time.
No. Because breathwork works directly with the nervous system, it isn’t appropriate in every situation.
Part of our initial conversation is deciding, together, whether this approach is a good fit for you.
Curiosity is enough.
You don’t need any previous experience. You don’t need to know whether you’ll be good at it. You don’t even need to understand exactly how it works. You simply need to be curious enough to explore.
